What we check

A useful service should leave you informed

Service requirements vary by system and usage. We inspect the equipment, carry out the checks appropriate to it and explain anything that needs attention.

Before the visit

If possible, tell us the make, model, approximate age and when it was last serviced. For a fault, include any error code and when the problem started.

After the checks

If further work is recommended, we explain the issue and scope before additional work is agreed.

Book an Assessment

A service may include

  • Filter, airflow and cleanliness checks
  • Indoor and outdoor unit inspection
  • Condensate drainage checks
  • Electrical and control checks
  • Operating temperature and performance checks
  • Refrigerant checks appropriate to the system

The exact work depends on the system, condition and access.

Common questions

Servicing and repair questions

The right interval depends on the system, manufacturer guidance, operating environment and how heavily it is used. Commercial equipment may need more frequent attention than a lightly used domestic unit.
Tell us the make, model and problem if known. We will confirm whether the team can assess that equipment before arranging the visit.
If water could damage the property, electrical parts are affected, or ice is building up, switch the system off and contact us for advice. Do not remove covers or attempt refrigerant work yourself.
If the assessment identifies further work, we explain what has been found and the proposed scope before additional work is agreed.
The make and model, approximate age, last service date, postcode, error codes and a short description are useful. A photo of the unit or controller can also help when WhatsApp is available.
